In the Meantime

Melody left me without a note
But one of these days
I’ll find harmony or maybe her money

I’m a man with a losin smile
But one of these days
Someone else will smile for me

But in the meantime
Stars and streams still shine
There’s girls out there, football, pianos, meadows, and comedy
And there’s things to change
There’s a world out there, people to care for
And that’s including me
At least this is how maybe I may be
That’s how I hope I’ll be

My relationships all sink
But one of these days
My boat will float to me

My peace of mind keeps shrinking
But one of these days I feel
More peace is waitin for me

But in the meantime
