Some folks will do anything to keep you from voting
Keep you from counting votes, keep you from breathing
After three centuries of freedom from autocracy
We can't let it be cancelled -- This is our last chance

If you don't vote now, that's it, no more conversation
After election day you'll have lost any say
The lawless will do what they want with you just because they can
If you don't vote now you will never vote again

Both sides claim the best policies, just one hangs those who disagree
Strips Medicaid and Medicare, and yes Social Security
Cuts taxes just for billionaires and keeps those bucks from you and me
And votes down higher wages and lets price gougers run scot-free
Some lust to shoot, obliterate, violate, exterminate
If you miss this vote now, it will be too late

If you don't vote now, there'll be no more real elections
Your life will be ruled by the leaders of the insurrection
They'll shoot you on Fifth Avenue just because they can
If you don't vote now you will never vote again

Project 2025's the promise for one guy to slash your freedoms
Abortion, birth control and privacy, women owning their own bodies
No more health care for job changers or pre-existing conditions
No safety from dirty pipes nor climate ravaging emissions
Storm troopers seize citizens while few workers for flood rescue
When things start getting worse for you, there's no more vote, nothing you can do
They'll close off what you hear and read, where you go and who you see
Once they take things away, it will be for keeps

If you don't vote now, it'll be like Putin's Russians
Vote for every office or that's it, no more discussion
Punishers will have their way with you, your family and your friends
If you don't vote now, it will happen, don't pretend.
